Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Metha Technologies, trading as MethaTechno, collects, why, and what rights you have over it. It covers this website and our hosted products.

1. What we collect

• Account data — name, email address, company name and country, given when you register or contact us.
• Billing data — subscription details, billing history, and the last four digits and expiry of your card. Full card numbers are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.
• Content data — the sites, pages, files and configuration you create in hosted products.
• Technical data — IP address, browser and device type and timestamps, recorded in server logs for security and diagnostics.
• Correspondence — messages you send us by form, email or Telegram.

We do not collect special categories of personal data and do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

2. Why we use it

• To provide, maintain and secure the products you signed up for, and to take payment (performance of a contract).
• To answer support requests and send service notices such as outage or billing alerts (legitimate interests).
• To detect and prevent fraud and abuse (legitimate interests).
• To meet accounting and legal obligations (legal obligation).

We do not sell personal data and do not share it with advertisers. Marketing email is sent only if you opt in, and every such message carries an unsubscribe link.

3. Who processes it

We use a small number of processors, each bound to protect your data and use it only on our instructions: Stripe for payments and subscription billing; hosting and infrastructure providers for servers, storage and backups; email delivery providers for transactional and support mail; and domain, DNS and network providers for certificates and denial-of-service protection.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it or to protect our legal rights. For self-hosted deployments we are neither controller nor processor of the data inside your installation; that responsibility is yours.

4. International transfers

Our infrastructure and processors may sit outside the United Arab Emirates, including in the European Union and the United States. Where data is transferred internationally we rely on the safeguards those providers offer, including standard contractual clauses where applicable.

5. How long we keep it

Account and content data is kept while your account is open. After closure, content is retained for 30 days so an account can be restored on request, then deleted from active systems; backups age out within a further 30 days. Billing records are kept as long as accounting and tax law requires. Server logs are kept for up to 12 months.

6. Security

We encrypt data in transit with TLS, restrict administrative access to those who need it, take nightly backups and keep systems patched. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affects your personal data we will notify you and any relevant authority without undue delay.

7. Cookies

This website uses only cookies necessary for it to work, such as maintaining a session. We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Hosted products set a session cookie when you sign in.

8. Your rights

You may ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, or provide it in a portable format. Where processing relies on consent you may withdraw that consent at any time. Email privacy@methatechno.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our response you may complain to the data protection authority in your country.

9. Changes

Updates are posted here with a revised date at the top. Material changes are notified by email.
