Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 22 July 2026
This policy applies to everyone using MethaTechno software, whether hosted by us or installed in their own environment. It exists because our products can be misused, and we would rather lose a customer than supply the tooling for something harmful.
1. General prohibitions
You may not use our products to:
- Break any applicable law, or help someone else do so.
- Defraud, deceive or mislead anyone, including through false claims, fabricated testimonials or impersonation.
- Publish or distribute malware, phishing pages, or anything built to harvest credentials.
- Send unsolicited bulk messages, or scrape and abuse third-party services.
- Publish content that infringes intellectual property, is sexually exploitative, or incites violence or hatred.
- Attack, overload or attempt unauthorised access to our infrastructure or anyone else’s.
2. Blockchain and tokenisation
Where we build blockchain or token infrastructure, you may not use it to:
- Issue or distribute instruments that are securities in your jurisdiction without the registrations or exemptions the law requires.
- Operate money transmission, exchange or custody services without the licences your jurisdiction requires.
- Obscure the origin of funds, or facilitate money laundering or sanctions evasion.
- Promote an offering with guaranteed or projected returns, or with claims that cannot be substantiated.
3. Trading software
Our trading-related tools are for the operator’s own accounts. You may not use them to:
- Manage third-party funds or trade on someone else’s behalf without the licences your jurisdiction requires.
- Solicit investment, accept deposits, or run any pooled or managed investment arrangement.
- Publish or imply guaranteed returns, or advertise performance in a misleading way.
- Present backtested results as though they were live results.
4. Distributor and referral programmes
Where you use our distributor management software, you may not use it to:
- Operate a pyramid or Ponzi scheme, or any programme whose income comes principally from recruitment rather than sales of genuine products to end customers.
- Require participants to make substantial purchases in order to qualify for commission.
- Publish income claims or earnings projections not substantiated by actual, typical results.
- Recruit participants who are minors, or target vulnerable people.
5. Reporting and enforcement
Report suspected misuse to abuse@methatechno.com. We investigate every report. Depending on severity we may require changes, suspend an account, or terminate it immediately. Accounts closed for breach are not refunded, and serious matters are reported to the relevant authorities.
6. Changes
We may update this policy as products and regulations change. The current version is always published here.
